It is my belief that any subject, no matter how plain or mundane, can be seen in an interesting light using creative photographic techniques. As a commercial product photographer, I have proven that the process of photographic art, rather than the subject matter, creates the interest in the product image.

I am committed to approaching each photographic project as unique and original. Typical projects can be very effectively completed using standard conventional photography. However with certain jobs innovation can not be considered a luxury -- rather, innovation is critical in order to effectively complete the job. One of my strengths as a commercial photographer is knowing when to rely on standard photographic methods, or when to logically and creatively pursue the innovation if standard methods would degrade a project.

Following this approach I have contributed to such corporations as Philips Consumer Electronics, Martin Marietta Energy Systems, and the Tennessee Valley Authority, by not simply providing photographic product but improving upon the standard to produce images.

Unless otherwise stated all images are true scans of the original film and are not digitally manipulated in any way. When people view my images, I often hear the question, "How did you do this?" As you browse my gallery, I invite you to engage in fanciful speculation of the techniques employed to create visual effects.
